UCCA Employee Web Survey

Dear Union County Community Action, Inc. Employee:

This employee opinion survey effort demonstrates that your opinions are an important part of UCCA's continuing effort towards excellence. Your honest responses to the statements in the enclosed survey will give us a better understanding of what we are doing well and document where improvements are needed. The more people who complete the survey, the clearer picture we will have of opinions shared throughout the consortium.

The JESCLON Group, Inc., a firm experienced in employee surveys, has been retained for consultation purposes and to maintain confidentiality of the survey information and database. Demographic information is requested at the beginning of the survey. Answers to age, and other demographic questions will be used to group responses into meaningful categories to evaluate the way people feel about specific areas of interest (for example, staff development, communications, health benefits, etc.). Individual responses will be kept strictly confidential. No demographic information will be provided below the Director level. Questions regarding confidentiality can be directed to The JESCLON Group, Inc. at (800) 671-1172, or the Human Resources Manager.

Your component director's name is requested so that group survey reports are available only for components where six or more employees complete and return the survey. Individual components unit results can then be presented in department meetings.

You will be allowed to complete this survey on agency time (estimated completion time is less than 45 minutes). Please complete and return the attached survey to The JESCLON Group, Inc., representative in the envelope provided.

We encourage you to participate in the survey process. While completing the survey is voluntary, it is your chance to increase our awareness of how you feel. Making UCCA a better place to work is an on-going process and together we can make it happen. Your support toward that goal is appreciated.

Thank you for your assistance

Sincerely,

Jenny McGuirt
Executive Director
Union Count Community Action, Inc.
